So it seems this year is ending how it began… I shall therefore write. It’s the only way I know …
RUBY
that smile that smile and that laugh that smile and that laugh and those sparkling eyes That smile and that laugh and those sparkling eyes and that heart
that heart which sits next to me two month into uni and offers me advice on sucky ex boyfriends (along with 400g of dairy milk and a litre of scotch)
that heart which puts others before itself that heart which explodes with creativity that heart which refuses to speak ill of anyone that runs from gossip that defends to the end
That which we can all take a part from That which we can learn to make new eyes sparkle And new mouths speak And laughs appear And smiles to grow
That heart Those eyes That laugh That smile
